Bush Quote: "When it comes to the education of our children, failure is not an option." "How many teachers have you had who were supremely expert in their field, but didn't have a clue how to teach it?"  We've all had too many. This is the fundamental reason for QTII's existence. Most of today's college teachers are unschooled in the fundamentals of how to teach. Primary teachers, secondary teachers, home school teachers, and corporate instructors learn their teaching styles from the teachers they had in college, and so all can benefit from the research, teaching, and certifications provided by QTII.

There is a tremendous body of research that identifies what is wrong with today's educational system, and what we need to do to fix it. QTII uses these research findings to put together an understandable and usable set of standards and specifications any teacher, school, or author can use to significantly improve student learning.

QTII has recently been approved as a tax exempt organization under IRS code 501(c)(3). We are seeking funding and support from sources to whom improving the effectiveness of teaching in education, particularly higher education, is an important goal.

We want to make our purpose, philosophy, mission, vision, and goals available to all interested parties. Please feel free to browse our site, particularly the Vision & Mission page, and email us (see the Contacts page) with any questions, comments, suggestions, critiques, or offers of support.
